Kudos to @womenshabitat for celebrating the power, resilience and leadership of women who are making a real difference in our community.

This past International Women’s Day, Women’s Habitat of Etobicoke hosted a meaningful breakfast to recognize women whose work uplifts, protects and empowers others. Their impact is a powerful reminder that supporting women and families experiencing violence is not just important...it’s essential.

We were proud to see our CEO, Christy Dagonas‑Markoulis, among the women honoured for her leadership and commitment to community, service and creating opportunities for others.

The event also included a men's leadership panel on - Strategies for Accountability and Prevention - highlighting the importance of male allies in ending violence against women by taking accountability in the workplace and in their own communities.

Thank you to all of the incredible women recognized and to the team at Women’s Habitat of Etobicoke who continue to do such vital work; leading with compassion and courage.

PALAIS ROYALE'S OPEN HOUSE IS NOW 12PM - 3PM! 🥂🌹💍

Over the many of years of creating wedding magic - we've learned to weather every storm as the show must go on!

And, we couldn’t be more excited to host you tomorrow. Our top priority is always our guest safety. We’ve been actively monitoring the weather networks and based on the current forecast there will be light accumulation during this new timeframe allowing for a safer commute to and from our venue. We will have staff on-site later until 4 p.m. for those who planned to attend during the original time slot.

We also wanted to remind you that Palais Royale has a private parking lot for our guests on Lake Shore Blvd W. directly in front of the venue, with street lights for safe pedestrian crossing. Our dedicated snow-clearing team will be active throughout the event, providing continuous clearing and salting to ensure safe access to the parking lot and venue.
